I attended your “Negotiating with Unions & Employee Groups” workshop and wanted to thank you for an outstanding two days.  I can honestly say that this 2 day workshop was by far the most valuable and practical training course that I have attended during my time in HR.  It was great to have the opportunity to sit on the other side of the fence (Union) and get a clear understanding of the motivations and objectives of both parties during a negotiation process.  The practical exercise at the end was a highlight.  The delivery of the course was first rate and the input was invaluable.  I highly recommend this course to any HR practitioner working in a unionised environment.  I look forward to completing the Advanced course in the near future.

I found the 2 day workshop really well structured and the sharing of experiences from the presenters Fed & Kieren, helped participants conceptualise the information.  The case studies were fun and there was always a ‘take away’ learning from each part of the program.   While sharing a taxi to the airport with another participant, we discussed the outcomes of the 2 days, and both agreed it was one of the best workshops we have attended and I now look forward to my EBA negotiations.

I did find the IR workshop very intense, but surprised myself with how much I actually participated as I’m not naturally comfortable in those situations.   The presenter was very engaging and had us all interacting in no time.  I thought we were very lucky with the group who attended as we all communicated well and had great banter between us, probably a little too much at times for the presenter!!  The workshop was very informative and was extremely helpful for any future negotiating we’ll need to do.  It’s given me more confidence and skills to better assist our HR Manager.  I also found the group exercises very interesting as we all got to hear how other businesses handled their negotiating with different Unions and the bargaining reps.  I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this course.

I really enjoyed the two day workshop and was really impressed with how it was presented.  It is safe to say that my involvement in Enterprise Bargaining negotiations have been fairly limited as this is mainly handled by another Department. However, I still feel I learnt a huge amount over the two days and would now be confident in requesting to be part of/ support negotiations as a learning experience and professional development for myself.  
Working with the other attendees as part of the mock negotiations was an incredibly enjoyable experience, it was fantastic to see everyone apply the skills and knowledge that they had obtained over the previous day and a half. The workshop was both informative and enjoyable and I would certainly recommend it to others.
