Advanced EA Negotiations: Strategies for successful EA bargaining

A 2-day specialist workshop focusing on current events and new developments. It covers complex, high risk negotiations, leading communication skills and strategic engagement techniques that deliver productive Enterprise Agreements.

This workshop allows you to assess different communication techniques and negotiating styles that work best in a range of business and relationship situations. We look at how EA negotiations can be influenced by company culture, leadership styles, finances, people values and union agenda.  Experienced negotiators understand bargaining dynamics and the need to adjust “everything” daily.  We explore how, when and why this occurs.

The existing negotiating spectrum ranges between two approaches. At one end we see high confrontation and strikes, driven by activist & social ideology and at the other we see collaboration, high engagement & common interest.

This workshop gives negotiators deep insight and skills allowing them their general overall approach to a specific EA as well as being able to re-align each daily bargaining interaction.

To get the best value from this workshop experience, attendees should ideally have previously been exposed to, or have been directly involved in a union negotiation or have attended our comprehensive foundation course EA Negotiations: The Essential Steps for Business Professionals.

Participants are expected to bring their own Enterprise Agreement for analysis and discussion.

This advanced workshop is presented by two negotiating specialists.
